Job Description
We are looking for a Senior Financial Analyst who knows their stuff. This isn’t just about ticking boxes; we need someone who can solve real problems. Here is what you will actually be doing:
- Fix inaccuracies in monthly variance reports by auditing departmental spend.
- Build complex financial models for new investment opportunities using Excel.
- Manage the annual budgeting process across four different business units.
- Monitor cash flow trends on a daily basis to ensure liquidity.
- Achieve the long-term goal of increasing our portfolio ROI by 4% through risk analysis.
Requirements
You don’t need to be perfect, but you do need the following:
- Visa & Legal: Must have valid work permit for Canada.
- Educational Background: Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Economics, or Accounting (CFA or CPA is a major plus).
- Professional Experience: 5+ years of hands-on experience in corporate finance or investment analysis.
- Technical Skills: Advanced Excel, Bloomberg Terminal, and NetSuite.
- Soft Skills: Must be a good listener, honest with reporting even when figures are down, and highly punctual.
